When you need to rebrand and redo your website, what do you do and who do you trust?
Many years ago, founder of Supawash, Ace, contacted us for a brand identity he wanted us to develop for a car wash he was creating in Randburg in Johannesburg. At the time, we created a basic website, which was lean, mean and dare we say cheap. However, his brand has developed. The logo we developed years ago, is still going strong. The website on the other hand, didn’t represent the growth Supawash has experienced.
A website redesign with a bang!
The new website we created for Supawash is bold. It uses the yellow, red and black accents of his brand identity. It has stayed true to the Supawash look and feel. Furthermore it is loud. It uses the brand positioning that is unique to Supawash – this carwash is for bold and loud car enthusiasts, and that style had to be represented by the website.
The great thing about this website, is that we have used the same visuals that we used years ago. This time around, we re-edited the photographs to be louder and grungier.
Additionally, we have ensured to position Supawash accurately. A few years ago, Supawash might have started as a car wash. Today, it is a car wash that is intended for car enthusiasts who care deeply about their vehicles. Founder, Ace, understands this – he is a car enthusiast himself. Vehicles receive special treatment there.
If that is the level of service, why should the website be dated? The Supawash website redesign should be able to showcase that level of service and personalization. And that was our intention with the redesign of the website.
